Child protection

i. Under this theme MUFT focuses on holistic development of children its protection and rights, following interventions are planned over the time

ii. Child rights education and protection awareness at different levels and different stakeholders.

iii. Development of safe learning places for children at schools, hospitals and community centers.

iv. Children confidence building programs, walks, sessions, campaigns and trainings.

v. Development of children groups and developing leadership skill in them.

Reproductive health

This thematic area entails following important features for the development:

i. Provide support to community health centers at remote areas where people don’t have access to the health facilities.

ii. Develop awareness campaigns for HIV prevention, reproductive health, life skills based education and sexual rights

iii. Develop immunization programs for venereal diseases and epidemics.

iv. Organizing events for public health along with government.

Advocacy

MUFT’S advocacy is achieving better results in the field of social/rural/community development, MUFT also believe in advocacy and therefore, the management has always strongly advocated for the issues related to MUFT.

For achieving this objective, MUFT through its strong advocacy as approached the line departments of Government of Baluchistan, NGO’s, CBO’s, Civil society organization (CSO’s), member of the community, notable and MUFT has always promoted the right based approach and supported the dialogue as an important tool for archiving the above mentioned objectives

Women Empowerment:

Women Empowerment aims at promoting women to take lead role in democratic norms and culture in the operational area.

Two types of activities are undertaken in this theme

one aims at building capacities of women and communities and their groups to engage effectively with government and other stakeholders for getting their constitutional and legal social, economic and political rights, the other aims at working directly with state institutions for creating an environment that can guarantee the rights of women citizens

Community Mobilization

MUFT while implementing its programs /projects as a first step undertake community mobilization so that to raise awareness in community on health and hygiene, importance education in modern day affairs, gender related issues, social-economic development and environmental protection for this purpose MUFT management holds meetings with the community members, conducts training/capacity building sessions and also launched campaigns

Livelihood Support

Provision of sustainable and profitable means of livelihoods, training of income generating activities and financial management, support to orphans and vulnerable children to attain vocational skills and provision of basic start up tool kits to beneficiaries in the community

Education

This is a cross – cutting activities in all the programs of Muft. It is an integrated activity. MUFT is supporting 10 orphans and vulnerable children by provision of scholastic materials, school fees, and basic materials. We are getting a very big challenge in terms of funding considering the level of poverty .

The community to recognize the importance of helping girls who have dropped out of school and children with disabilities

To Introduce the project objectives at all levels of governmental and social authority in priority areas.

To Recruit and train Community Volunteers and introduce them to communities and facilities.

To Conduct Training to volunteers on general overview of the project and reporting.

In collaboration with local governments, to conduct research and identify disabled children and girls who need academic support and other services to register them.

To Provide training to the community on the importance of helping children with special needs in the community.

To Training on financial management to give the beneficiaries skills needed to manage grants provided to them through the value chain of the programme

To Conduct entrepreneurship training to low income families and those with CWD.

To Conduct research and identify institutions and organizations that provide aid to girls and children with special needs
